We are Kermit and Donna Theall. We care about our customers, our facility and our community! We are active/involved members of the: Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce, Ellsworth Noontime Rotary, United Baptist Church Ellsworth, the Maine Self Storage Association (Donna is a former President) and an Affiliate Member of The National Self-Storage Association. When we have projects related to our business, we try to source our products and services in Hancock County - to keep the business local and support our local economy.
Kermit is always cleaning, maintaining to keep the facility in good working order. In the winter, he clears the snow and ice from doors. Many of our competitors do not clear doors or take as good care to clear the snow as we do. In the spring, we clean up all gravel and sand that accumulates over the winter. The grass and landscaping are well-kept to ensure the facility looks good. Kermit focuses on regular maintenance to keep the facility in top working order, he cleans up any trash/debris that is dropped, vacuums each unit after an occupant moves out, fixes things when they break, walks all roofs twice per year to check for leaks and makes any repairs that may need to made. It’s about attention to detail and pride in ownership.
Returning customers are our #1 source of renters. That says a lot about how we treat our customers, how we take care of our facility and the quality of service you will receive if you rent with us. While we cannot claim 100% satisfaction from every customer we have ever had (who can make that claim?), we can say we have a high percentage of satisfied customers and we do all we can to satisfy all of our customers.

We purchased E-Z Self Storage in 2003. At that time, the facility consisted of just two buildings, with no office, security cameras or lighting and the lot was unpaved. Shortly after purchasing the facility, we added four buildings, an office, a lighted sign, security cameras and full-time lighting at night. Half of the facility is lit with energy-efficient LED lighting. We also paved the original lot. We have expanded several times to our current facility size of 9 buildings, one building is temperature-controlled/indoor storage. When we expand, we try to use local business and services as much as possible. We have invested in our business and the local business community.
We were completely satisfied. We moved out because we had sufficient space. We'll be back when our storage overflows.....Charles A.
